With Floral Hall, Torvean Golf course, Boat trips to Loch Ness or the Moray Firth Dolphins and excellent restaurants a minute away Heathcote is an ideal base to stay and explore the beauty of Inverness and the Highlands.
Heathcote is a Victorian Town house built over 100 years ago and retains many of its original features. It is located in Glenurquhart Road, the main route into Inverness from Fort William and Loch Ness. Inverness airport is a 20 minute drive away and Inverness railway station 10 minutes.
Inverness is the ideal touring base for the Highlands of Scotland with Loch Ness and the world famous Monster just a few miles away. Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, many famous whisky distilleries and heritage trails are found within a few miles of inverness.
Castles abound with Cawdor, Urquhart and Dunrobin castles accessible from Inverness. Locally there are all the attractions of a modern city with all types of restaurants nearby. Eden Court Theatre and the Inverness Leisure Aquadome are just a few hundred yards up river heading towards the Ness Islands and the northern end of the Great Glen Way. Jacobite Cruises run boat trips on Loch Ness and there are dolphin spotting boats operating from Inverness Harbour and the new marina. Inverness even has it's own wildlife and nature reserve on the shores of the Moray Firth.
